Betsy

{I got my doll Betsy for my very first Christmas over 27 years ago.  She used to have hair and talk, and has undergone at least 4 or 5 wardrobe changes through the years.  She was, and still is, a very loved toy.  I had her out yesterday to show my nieces and Carter found her today and was excited to take off her hat and give her a hug and a kiss!  The thing I love most about this picture is how well it sums up Carter's day today.  After saying goodbye to his grandparents and cousins this morning he was super sweet and cuddly for the rest of the day.  It was a welcome change after a week in hyper-mode.  And just for the record, Carter doesn't usually play with dolls!}
