The Fire Station

{Since Carter is majorly obsessed with firetrucks I was so excited to set up a playdate at the fire station this week to coincide with his birthday.  Unfortunately once we got up close, Carter was no longer interested in firetrucks, almost afraid of them even, and cried pretty much the entire time (totally unlike Carter.)  I felt bad for the poor kid, but also kind of disappointed after I have been looking forward to this for so long, thinking he would have loved it.  He was okay as long as we were at a safe distance, just like his firetruck video he watches twice a day tells him!  He talked about firetrucks for the rest of the day, as usual!}
